I previously wrote about Bacon Salt after discovering it just before this blog launched. Justin and Dave were kind enough to send me free samples of the Original, Hickory and Peppered Bacon Salt, and I’ve spent the past 10 days trying it on various food items. (I swear a review is coming soon, I’ve just had too much other stuff to blog about).

But before my review is complete, I did want to give props to the Bacon Salt guys for how incredibly web savvy their marketing has been. Internet marketing is what I do for a living, and let me just say I’m impressed at how they have reached out to bloggers and offered them free samples, knowing that the more people talk about it, the more potential orders they get.

Not only that, Bacon Salt has a blog and a MySpace page. 414 friends, not too shabby.

They even have a YouTube video with a stunning 3,300 views! Keep up the good work guys.

Whoa! Are those people really letting their kids eat salt like it’s candy?? They do know it’ll give you a heart attack, right? ….but it’s got 0 calories!
