Steak-Tacos-RecipeI have to be honest; I’ve never made grilled tacos before. I’ve stuck to the straight and narrow path of ground beef or ground turkey tacos and added cheese, lettuce, and a little pico de gallo and called it a day. Boy, do I regret doing that for so many years. After making these tacos, I’ll never go back to boring again. They were fresh, hearty, and the homemade grilled salsa….the best. Probably the best salsa I’ve ever made. I loved that everything had the smokiness of the grill but also the brightness of all the different ingredients. It’s also easy for beginners if you’re just getting into the taco scene. Chop the veggies and taco stuffings, char the meat and veggies, add the veggies to the food processor, and make your taco. Anyone with a grill can make these tacos and you can enjoy a great alternative to the traditional (and now lame to me after having these) taco.
