It’s Monday, which means it’s time for another Eating Styles poll. Since I’m having an omelette this morning, I’m curious; what do you put in your omelette? We’ve asked you before how you like your eggs and what you order at breakfast diners, but omelettes are a whole different beast deserving of their own poll.

When I was little, I remember going to the American Legion in our hometown for the omelette breakfast on Sundays. The omelettes were cook-to-order, and the table chock full of ingredients always made my little eyes widen. You could have bacon bits, diced tomatoes, ham, cheese, scallions, whatever you wanted. Hungry and overeager as I was, I would inevitably pile way too many components on my plate like a rookie at a Mongolian grill. When my “omelette” came, it was more like a pile of diced food with some bits of egg mixed in.
If you could have a cook-to-order omelette, what would you add to it? Choose your favorite omelette ingredients below and explain in the comments (you can select more than one answer). If you don’t see your favorite, select “Other” and explain in the comments.

Not much cheese – just a sprinkle. Cheddar.

Hash Browns and hot sauce! Cholula, please..leave the Tabasco on the shelf next to the vinegar where it belongs.
