The posting below is from a diary at the liberal site Daily Kos by a user named JeffLieber . It’s a reaction to the news that a Dunkin Donuts ad was pulled after Michelle Malkin complained Rachael Ray was wearing a keffiyah in the commercial. I made a couple small edits to the original, but [...]

This morning I headed over to McDonald’s to grab one of their free Southern Style Chicken Biscuits. I was intrigued by the idea of a chicken breakfast sandwich, having really only experienced it at Chick-fil-A before. This sandwich is basically a knock off of those.
The sandwich appeared small at first…you certainly shouldn’t expect anything of [...]

So Good got pretty obsessed with our coverage of the Kraft Bagelfuls, but Culinary Couture reminds of us of just one of the many other weird food creations already on the market.
Yesterday, Obama ate breakfast at the Glider Diner in Scranton, PA. The lanky Obama couldn’t finish the meal, leaving behind half a sausage and a little less than half a waffle. So why is this news? Because an enterprising employee or customer snagged the plate and put it up for auction on ebay. [...]

This past Friday, around noon, a package arrived for me from Kraft Foods. Much to my delight it was two boxes, one plain, one cinnamon, of Kraft’s new Bagel-fuls. It was time for a taste test. Along with a handful of lovely female assistants, including Serious Eats blogger (and photographer for this taste test) [...]

In addition to being extremely helpful in addressing [...]

My last post which questioned the uniqueness of the new Kraft Bagel-Fuls (that I originally wrote about last Thursday) was getting filled up with endless updates, so let me summarize in a new post what my research about the history of this concept has discovered:
An eagle eyed reader over at Serious Eats spotted a cream [...]

On Thursday, I wrote about a new Kraft product called the Bagel-Ful. It’s one of those “products of convenience” that no one realizes they need until someone starts advertising it to them. However, the uniqueness of the idea has definitely attracted some attention in the blogosphere, with both Serious Eats and Gothamist picking [...]

Update 2/26/08: I just stumbled across an article from Chicago Business which may answer a lot of people’s original questions. It appears, based on the article, that Kraft’s new Bagel-Ful’s are intended to be bagel STICKS, not full bagels. Also, they are intended to be microwaved, not toasted.
Our good friends over at Kraft Foods are [...]
