Would You Rather? Tortilla vs. Potato Chips Eick July 20, 2011 Would You Rather? 5 Comments It’s Wednesday, which means it’s Would You Rather time. Summer means BBQ’s, and for those too lazy to bring a real side dish or too cheap to contribute some meat, it also means a lot of showing up at a party/BBQ with a bag of chips as your offering. But what kind of chips do you bring? And what kind of chips do you prefer? Option #1: You can never eat tortilla chips again. Option #2: You can never eat potato chips again. Reply Cat July 20th, 2011 I’d rather eat no chips at all! This is a cruel scenario! Reply Jonny July 21st, 2011 dip or no dip, the tortilla chip can’t match the diversity of flavors, the range of possibilities, of the potato chip. The British have about 900 flavors including marmite, ketchup, worcestershire sauce, and prawn cocktail. Match that tortilla chip! Reply Hyatt July 21st, 2011 It’s a tough call, but I’d probably go with potato chips. I only crave them very, VERY rarely, to be honest, whereas tortilla chips are all but a staple in our house. I’d miss me some plain Ruffles and homemade dip though. 8( Reply Martin July 29th, 2011 There are plenty of varieties of tortilla chips, including ones that come with their own salsa somehow baked into them already. Plus, I love pico de gallo too much to ever give it up.
