  Wendy’s has the best quality food of the three, but their price inflation over the last couple of years has been pretty onerous. And they’re more vulnerable to tomato shortages than are the others.

  Really surprised at the current results. Sonic sux. DQ is ok, but doesn’t nearly compare to even Chick fil a, arby’s or McDonalds. And Wendy’s is the hands down best fast food chain in the world, when it comes to quality of food.

  Sonic is absolutely delicious. It is the only fast food restaurant that I will go on a road trip for. DQ is disgusting, when it comes to things outside of ice cream. Wendy’s is decent, but it doesn’t compare to Sonic.

  ok if you want to get technical you should look at where the world decides. Here is a fact for you….. Sonic is the fastest growing quick service restaurant right now. Which means that they are they best fast food chain. Yes, DQ is fast food. Sonic has by far the most choices than any other places for drinks. Has a great variety of ice cream. And a continous channging new food items to keep things appealing but while keeping the same favorite food items.

  I love Chick Fil A. I’m not crazy about McDonalds. But both are better than Sonic. Sonic is atrocious. Their food is absolutely horrid. Their drinks are amazing. But their food sux. Wendy’s food is the best quality food around and it actually tastes like food. I can’t believe its not murdering these other two.

  Wendy’s FTW! DQ should have never been in this, since people mainly go there for their ice cream products. Sonic has decent food, but it doesn’t seem as fresh as Wendy’s, especially when it comes to the vegetable toppings, which Wendy’s dominates with. Wendy’s also has more proportionate foods that costs less than the majority of the foods at Sonic.

  there are 5 dq’s in our area. All of them sell ONLY ice cream. Food when advertised looks great, but im not driving to the beach to try it. as far as people saying somebody’s food is horrible, that is mainly from the resturant they got it from. Employees not caring, or managers not making sure the food gets made correctly, which leads to you the customers getting a horrible product. I am a sonic manager and am not taking up for anybody, i am just stating the facts to what i see as a consumer when i visit other places. if the food is made correctly, by the companys standards, then everybodys food would be delicious. So quit blaming a brand for having horrible food b/c you have had a bad experience. Ched R Pepper SuperSonic Cheese Burger is AMAZING, fyi….

  i think this whole endeavor and all the really variable opinions about the different fast food options simply points out that no matter how hard these chains try, there is huge variation (across and within states/regions) in terms of food quality, presentation, assembly, etc. remember, the point of a chain is uniformity; you develop a recipe and then it gets implemented in exactly the same configuration in all the locations. they seem to be failing at this, at least to some degree.

  obviously people will have different opinions but it is so all over the map it has to point to a flaw in the business model of these restaurant chains.

  are you all mad? first off, a fast food restaurant is only as good as its cheapest item…as for Wendy’s, the only thing they really have going for them is their value menu, but even that is truly not a value as most of it is not worth the buy, except the chili…Dairy Queen only has their blizzards…sonic has actual variety in their products, not just the same thing made 20 different ways…extreme tots, extra long coney, brown bag, as well as huge drinks that you can customize for the price of a medium everywhere else…and even if sonic was not in this, chick fil-a has got it for anything chicken…and Whataburger, for burger place, has got it in not only quality and taste, but also the sheer size vs. value…even though they are not as fast as most expect fast food to be, it is about the food…which in quality, for burger places, it wins hands down…in this “three way” i would give it to sonic then wendy’s…and DQ would not have even been in the running this far…

  If Wendy is sooooooo great then they should have no trouble beating Sonic and DQ! The fact that Wendys is loosing shows that your customers are less loyal and motivated. As far as I’m concerned, the championship was decided last week when Sonic and DQ tied. They’ll make it close again because they take care of their customers and serve a quality product!

  PS – I voted for Sonic because the one in my area is AWESOME

  Ya this is a bunch of crap. The author of the blog is just trying to save is a$$. He realized he got caught cheating for DQ, and this is his way of saving him self. Sorry to all you people who have had bad sonic food. you have just been to a poorly ran sonic. I’m sure everyone voting here has also gone to a poorly ran DQ or Wendy’s has gotten bad food. So when you get bad food from a store its not because the food from that chain is nasty, it’s because the store did not follow procedure. trust me all those store spend millions of dollars testing their food to make sure it appeals to the masses. If it didn’t they would not serve it. So in my mind the real championship is between Sonic & Wendy’s. I have 3 wendys around me and only one of them serves food, so i do not classify DQ as fast food for that reason. Then you have to compare menu to menu. Sonic has more food options then wendy. Sonic has more deserts then wendy. Sonic also has more drinks then wendys, so all and all sonic should be # 1. think about that before you vote.

  Here’s my take. Dairy Queen’s Blizzard’s are great, but their food is just average. Also they are very slow. And when was the last time they built a new one? I have a feeling they’re on the way out. All DQ’s I’ve ever seen look exactly like they did when they were built. DQ is #3 here for me.

  Sonic has decent ice cream treats (the Blast doesn’t compare to the Blizzard though), and their food is pretty good. My favorite thing at Sonic is the slushes. I will admit that their food is overpriced. Their drinks are not though. Also the tots are delicious, as are the burgers. I give them 2nd place.

  My vote goes to Wendy’s. They have the best value menu out there. Deluxe crispy chicken (includes bacon and cheese), small fries, small drink for $2.99. Can’t beat that. The double stack is also quite tasty. And don’t even get me started on the awesomeness of the Frosty. Their other burgers are good too, but are pretty spendy. The Baconator is so good, but so bad. Overall, if you’re not buying off the value menu, you’re wasting money. But hey, do what you want. My vote goes to Wendy’s.

  There is nothing like a skating carhop serving you food. It just feel COOL to eat at Sonic. Dairy Queen is amazing – its amazing how a company could lose all this money and still be open. Those franchisees must have deep pockets. Wendy’s – well it is expensive but no checkbacks like Sonic. You buy, you eat, good-bye. Sonic – well they keep skating around, yes it is fast food but the carhops are way more fit than Dairy Queen and Wendys employee. Gooooooo SONIC…..

  Dairy Queen does in fact have food. Their new Grill and Chill restaurants have great food for being fast food. It can be a bit on the pricey side depending upon what you purchase, but I think you get the better value for your money.

  Sonic has a great beverage selection with nice icy cold drinks served in the cups that keep it cold for HOURS!

Either way, this is just a silly way to make us go crazy and dislike other restaurants for a while. i don’t hate or dislike any of the other competitors at all. Honestly, I spend too much time at my sonic working that I don’t have very much time to go to the other two.

  Let’s start by saying, I’m voting for D.Q. only because, I never hear of Sonic’s. I live in Nortwest Inidana (near the chicagoland area)and there are definately none around me. I’ve been from Indiana to Minnesota and never seen one sign for Sonic’s but, I surely did see alot of the beautiful D.Q. sings. I had to go to the website and see what Sonic’s was. They call themselves America’s Drive-In. Had to even go to (youtube) to see if they have a commercial. They have the worst commercial ever. “oh I can’t decide”. So I see why D.Q. is still in the running. 1 thing about wendy’s burgers are they are square and to damn greasy.

  I agree with Beth. How did these three end up in championship?? The whole bracket is flawed, not everyone has everyone of these restaurants in their city. Or have eaten at everyone of these restaurants.

  Wendy’s has the only real hambuger…with the true old fashioned home-cooked taste. Not that leather tasting pressed cow stuff the other joints sell. A single with pickle mustard and onion….man…. brings back the days when we stopped by the little neighborhood shop on Chase Street, on the way home from Junior High School. They only sold Hamburgers Chips and Soda pop…But man I swear, the single I enjoy today was designed by that old man.

  Don’t get me wrong I like Wendy’s and I like DQ, but when it comes down to getting your monies worth I had rather eat at Sonic another reason is you can get the Route 44 for half price between the hours of 2:00 and 4:00PM, also you do get a coupon to do a telephone survey to get either a free Route 44 or a $1.00 off combo, and to be quite honest I don’t see either Wendy’s or DQ making either of these offers to their customers. So … Go Sonic, Go Sonic, Go Sonic, the best fast food made to order in town others just can’t compete!

  Well…with 6 kids who would easily vote Wendy’s, how can they be WRONG!?? We had a DQ in our small town, but we’d all choose an icy Frosty over any DQ treat any old day! (plus, DQ is so expensive, we leave this for birthday cakes ONLY) AND since we are talking real FOOD, not ice cream treats, we would choose FRESH, FAST, & FANTASTIC FOOD from Wendy’s! Granted, the burgers are a bit greasy (they need to hard press them before “bunning ” them, like we do on our own grill), but TASTE wins! And in this economy their value menu is AWESOME!
  My kids love the chicken bites, the Bacon Cheeseburger, and their fries r FAB! (Of course all fast food in moderation…even while right now I’d love a FROSTY & burger but my teen has my wheels at school. Sigh…)

  I know that when you go to a fast food restaurant, calories usually aren’t the first thing on you mind. BUT, Dairy Queen’s calories are just insane!!!! You can eat 1,400 + calories just in a burger, fries & a drink; that’s without the dessert! Plus, personally I don’t think they taste all that great anyways. Just my opinion. Wendy’s all the way!

  Wendy’s! I choose Wendy’s cause they’re cheap and I’ve been going there since I was a kid. The 2 DQs by me only serve ice cream so I don’t know about them. It just seems weird to have food at a place where they only REALLY market their ice cream. As for Sonic, their food was alright and the service was horrible. It just feels like a really cheap place. Wendy’s does a great job at marketing their food as high quality and you can really feel that when you look at their menu and their design.

  i work at sonic but for one minute im going to pretend that i dont, but heres what i have to say about it.okay sonic has half priced drinks, a BUNCH of coupons like the bogo burger/ extra long chili cheese coney, a free RT44 coupon on the bottume of your reciepts sometimes, the 99cent RT44, we have promo items every month and always ALWAYS have a new drink or shake, we skate with your food on a tray, i mean COME ON. For a burger combo or coney combo its going to be less the 7$ vs. wendys nasty ass burger combo i paid over 8$ for like 3 weeks ago, ive been to DQ maybe 5 times in my life and it was never appealing enough to WANT to go back. Sonic is a fun atmosphere, we care about what our consumers think, i mean seriously we care enough to give you coupons for 44 ounces of drink FOR FREE. you guys are ridiculous! youve either not ate good sonic food or theres not one near you because if you at at the store i worked at then DQ and wendys would have 0% votes.

  I’ve never been sick after eating at Wendy’s (unlike McDonals & Taco Hell) and they have the BEST $1 Double Cheeseburger IMO. Their fries need work though and the regular burgers are kind of pricey.

  Sonic has GREAT drinks (creamslush) and used to have a yummy ham, cheese & egg sandwhich (took ham away here) but their tator tots blow (always soggy) and their burgers are only so-so to me.

  DQ shouldn’t count, maybe for best Ice Cream but not for fast food. Also they get negative points for charging FOUR BUCKS for a blizzard, hell I can go to the grocery store and get a whole tub of ice cream for $2 or less on sale

  Overall I vote Wendy’s as they have a good $1 menu although some people rely on this “food” way too much. Also, I paid $1 for a frosty card that gets a FREE Jr. Frosty for the WHOLE year!!!! Hell Yeah!

  If you want it to be the best fast food place, why dont you get inside the numbers from the companies, sonic, takes forever on “speed of service”, dq, had no speed at all , and wendys? yeah, if you want great food fast(less than two min at the most, go to wendys! I saw one of 7 in my area, had an average drive thru(which means fast food) time of 98 seconds!

  Sonic is OK and has generally the same taste everywhere you go, so you know what you’re getting when you order. DQ can be hit-or-miss because they’re all independently owned and don’t have great quality control. Wendy’s, however, is great. They continually have quality burgers and they expand their menu regularly to keep things fresh. I’m a huge fan of the bacon and blue cheeseburgers. I still miss when they had those super buffets that had italian, mexican, and salad bars!

  I’m rather suprised that DQ is in this competition. Let me put it this way: There are only two DQ’s within 20 miles of my home. One ONLY sells ice cream products. That’s it. No burgers, no fries, just sweet, sweet ice cream. THe other one does have ‘fast food’, but it is very low quality, and they are never busy that I’ve seen and I’ve lived in this area for almost 13 years.

  The only sonic within 30 miles was shut down a year ago. Now, due to the economy, this shouldn’t be too surprising, except for the fact that it was DIRECTLY across from the high school that most of the upper-class people here send their kids. Right down the street was the community baseball field. A little ways down from that are the fair grounds where events are held yearly. Next to the high school is an elementary school. Granted, no elementary school kid is gonna walk across the street after school, but the ones who got picked up in the car riders lane were probably hungry and begging their parents for food…

  There are about ten Wendy’s stores within just 20 miles, that I know of. Four of those are within my city limits. Each of them grosses a minimum of $3,000 a day. I would know. I work at one of the busiest ones. All of this ‘price inflation’ stuff I see is odd. When did our prices rise? I’ve been at the store for four years now, and while our prices have risen some due to natural inflation that all stores experience, I haven’t seen any dramatic jumps.

I finally checked their website, and there’s not one within 35 miles of either city! Seems like a waste of money to advertise so much here.   Sonic has beat that deal over and over again. Sonic has had free root beer float nights where everyone on the lot gets a free root beer float, 50 cent corn dogs on Halloween, 99 cent shakes and 99 cent cream slushes most of last summer and there are always coupons around for buy one get one burgers and or coneys, Free Rt 44 drinks, 99 cent Rt 44 drinks, the list goes on and on. There are also free drinks for calling a survey number on a portion of the receipts.

  When the day comes that DQ or Wendy’s can top that …then u can consider them matching up to Sonic!

  DQ does NOT sell ice cream. They sell a soft serve dairy product. The butterfat content is less than legally required for ice cream. The brazier food they serve is slightly better than microwaved stuff from home. Sonic couldn’t stay in business locally.

  Dairy Queen has awesome food and also ice cream. Their breakfast is really great, biscuit and gravy, omelets, eggs any way you want them, and I love the mushroom swiss burger. They have some great fresh salads too. Their cakes are awesome also. Just to name a few things. I work at a Dairy Queen and they’ve had a flame broiler for several years now, you can’t beat that with a regular grill.

  I’ve only been to Sonic twice and both times ended up with food poisoning. And they were two different ones. DQ’s ice cream is good but the chicken kid’s meal I got for daughter was disgusting. For a kid who could care less what she eats, she hated it. Out of the three, Wendy’s is the only place that I have never had a problem. They have never gotten my order wrong, and I have never had bad customer service. If we eat in the dining room, there is always a manager that comes out and makes sure everything is good. In my opinion, I think Wendy’s should win.

  May I just say that just because some owners choose to open an ice-cream-only store does not mean that DQ is not fast food and shouldn’t be considered an option. I work in a very fast-paced store with both options and we believe in serving great quality products to our customers. I agree with the above comments stating that the store is only as good as how it is ran and one bad store or experience does not mean the whole chain is bad. I love Wendy’s and have never been to a Sonic, so I actually feel it is unfair to vote against them when I have no opinion of them, good or bad.

  For those who truly do not know what DQ has to offer grill wise……grill burgers, chicken strip baskets, fried and grilled chicken sandwiches, fish sandwiches, shrimp baskets, iron grilled turkey-club-BLT- or ham sandwiches. reg and foot long all beef hotdogs with or without chili and cheese, fries, mushrooms, onionrings, BBQ beef sandwiches, chicken quesadillas, flamethrowewr Then you add the treat side.   Every single time I have gone to Wendy’s I have left disappointed, from being charged for the wrong order (And not being given the difference back) to long wait times and overpriced, underportioned food to a case of mild food poisoning. I have since vowed to never go back. Sonic, I’m unable to comment on, as there exists not a single establishment by that name in Canada (Or, at least, BC) thus leaving me with my fast food location of choice: Dairy Queen.   So, all of you who complained about getting soggy or cold fries at a Wendy’s… You do realize that on the off-chance that your fries are cold (which is impossible, really, since if they aren’t all used within five minutes they are tossed out a new batch is cooked…) All you have to do is say ‘Hey, can you cook me some fresh fries? It takes 3 minutes, so unless you’re too impatient, you have no excuse for complaining. Honestly, isn’t it the same at all fast food places?

And if you go inside to beat the line out side it is faster but there is a unbleievable odor…………Wendy’s can’t keep their chocolate frosty machine working it has been broken for at least a year.   Hmmm, I go to all 3 of these places & there are good & bad with all of them. I like DQ because I can get chicken strips, chicken fried steak, tacos, burgers, hot dogs and of course the wonderful blizzard. Wendy’s has good burgers, fries, but a nugget is a nugget. Hate the cups. Sonic has decent food as well & I do like being able to get breakfast food any time of day. DQ & Sonic both have happy hour, but DQ goes 2-5pm & instead of 1/2 price, it’s 79 cents any size. DQ & Sonic both use styrofoam cups that keep your ice from melting & you don’t have to deal with the cup sweating. All 3 places have quite pricey salads – too bad. I like getting chili & baked potatoes at Wendys in the winter. So, instead of hating each other because our opinions differ, just go where you like. Good grief!

  Wendy’s is the best by far!!!

  I love the option that the children can have yogurt or the fruit instead of fries. My child will eat all of his food there. He picks at his food at all other places. Plus I always have the chili with hot sauce instead of the fries The fries are the only thing that I really don’t like from there.

  Just because some stores don’t carry food doesn’t mean that dq doesn’t.

  they have chicken, burgers sml and lrg. queso and iron grill sandwhiches , hot dogs, salads, chili cheese hotdogs and chicken sandwhiches, and even a chili burger .

  I wish people would stop comparing their bad time at one of the 3 fast food places. instead of just comparing them as a whole, or just the ones they live by and how many.

  When it comes to dairy queen try thinking of if it a different way, why you food took so long. Perhaps it was made fresh . perhaps there higher quality items take longer to make.

  I don’t know about some of you but i like it when my order takes a while at least then i know it hasn’t been sitting there all day.

  Also like that they do more than just hand you, your food they go that extra mile to know you or actually ask how your day has been. or when your kid drops there ice cream they will just give you a new one even though there losing money just to make sure your kid has a smile on there face. ****DQ Is A Family Fast Food Restaurant *** Thats why DQ gets the vote They Show PRIDE in there work the one i live by actually won the PRIDE ( Personal Responsibility In Delivering Excellence ) award a bunch of times and they have them up in there lobby so you can see them . We have i think 8 dq’s around here and they all deliver food and the 7 owned by i think its jim and sherry ? Are doing a fantastic job i seen them a couple of time when doing inspections i had to ask a cashier what was going on and he nicely told me they get inspected every month, just to make sure they are delivering excellence in every part of the store i found that to be way cool. i’ve never even seen any other store get inspected.
  I think the kitchen nightmares show should go to the dq in nampa, ID . they would pass with filing colors i think i’m more afraid of going to a regular restaurant then fast food.

  and who can’t beat buying a blizzard and getting another for 25 cents we were in line two night ago at the nampa one the line went past a McDonald, sonic, and jack in the box, and still everyone went Dq not just for ice cream . and even though the lines went on for about two blocks we were only in line for 7 to 8 mins if thats not fast food i don’t know what is. and all the employees were really nice and having a great time even though they were SLAMMED !!!

  DQ has AWESOME prices, whereas Wendy’s is OK with prices and Sonic is just RIDICULOUSLY expensive. Sonic’s portions are huge, on SOME items, but they’re always sloppy when I get them. DQ offers pretty much the widest array of tastes from flamethrower burgers, to Moolattes, to fried mushrooms, to DILLY BARS! What other fast food place makes ice cream cakes??

  Even if this is a “fast food bracket” the fact they carry such a variety of desserts doesn’t mean people are ONLY voting for their ice cream. They also flame-broil their burgers. Their fries are to die for.

  Wendy’s & Sonic’s fries are always dry and it’s a toss-up whether you get them crispy or not. DQ has it all!

  I have to honestly say DQ has got some of the best fastfood in our town. It is always served hot and tastes fresh. They have a variety that no other fast food place in our town has. You can get hotdogs, chicken, hamburgers, shrimp and there are different kinds for each. Love the fries and the extra variety of drinks and of course ice cream!

  Wendy’s is ok their french fries here suck, and anything fried tastes awful. Their chicken sandwiches are good, the chili is nice since no one else offers it.

  We don’t have a sonic but the last one I ate at the burgers were so greasy I didn’t care for them at all.

  Overall DQ gets my vote because of the quality of food they offer, and this does not include the ice cream!

  Wendy’s has quite possibly the worst tasting food of any place I have ever eaten. The only good thing on their menu is their Frosty.

  We don’t have a Sonic here, but their slushies look so good.

  As for DQ, they hands down win because of their ice cream. And are infact fast food, you can get the same meals there are any other restaurant. Let’s face it DQ has quite possibly the most amazing hot dogs known to man. And their other food is pretty damn god too.

  Yeah I really don’t understand at all how DQ won this. I literally do not know anyone who likes DQ. I’m chalking this one up to the fact that Sonic has fewer locations so less people have tried it. Especially in the upper midwest, there are tons of DQ’s and no Sonics. As for Wendy’s, I’m surprised they did not win. I can’t think of the reason why…people with negative comments towards Wendy’s on here mostly say “the food is nasty” or “they got my order wrong”, neither of which I have ever had happen in numerous trips to Wendy’s. I guess we all have different experiences based on which locations we go to. (Although, I’ve been to probably 5 different DQ’s and they have all been the same: dirty, old, smelly, slow, and average-tasting.) Whatever. This vote doesn’t change my opinion.

  Kelly, why are you not understanding this…Wendy’s food is just as fresh as DQ’s. The reason it takes you so long to get your food at DQ is because the employees, in my experience, are idiots. Wendy’s has much higher standards, which is why they are way more efficient. Wendy’s gives you fresh food FAST, something that DQ will never do. If DQ was any good maybe they would make more MONEY, like Wendy’s. Every DQ I have ever been to looks the same as it did when it first opened. And when was the last time a new DQ was built?   Wendy’s lost, not me. But I’m sure they don’t care since they make more money than DQ anyway. More people choose Wendy’s than DQ every day. How are you going to argue with the American people? Probably by telling them to “do their homework,” and insult their taste, calling it “low class.” Neither or which make any sense whatsoever, because you don’t need to do any homework to decide what tastes better. And the idea that your taste is “better” than someone else’s is ridiculous because taste is a matter of opinion, and one’s taste cannot be better than another’s. Sorry if that makes too much sense for you.

  I’m not sure about profits, but Wendy’s was a #1 seed because in terms of overall revenue they make more than Sonic and Dairy Queen. So the statement that more people choose Wendy’s everyday is in fact true, they have more locations, more customers and higher sales.

  I honestly think that Chick-fil-A should have won. I was actually shocked that they didn’t make it any further than they did.

  ANYWAY, I like all three of the finalists. Our local DQ is located in a really trashy truck stop right off the Interstate in the middle of nowhere, and doesn’t really have good food service, but the food is still pretty good, though I hardly ever go there because it is so far out of the way of everything. It would have probably closed long ago if not for Interstate travelers stopping there. Despite that fact, I agree with Dairy Queen winning the competition, and I hope that our restaurant doesn’t close down anytime soon.

  Our local Wendy’s and Sonic restaurants are actually located in town, so they are much more accessible. They are also A LOT nicer than our Dairy Queen. I don’t eat at either restaurant very often, because they are on the opposite side of town (I live in a small town of 8,000 residents, so we only have one of each), but they are also very good (though Arby’s is much better than Wendys, and Dairy Queen is much better than Sonic, in my opinion).

  @ Cary: I am not a big fan of Taco Bell. I honestly think that their tacos has a “fake” taste. I do like some of their nacho stuff though, and I appreciate you giving your opinion.

  Anyway, sorry about such a long post! I know I am kinda off subject from the present conversation, but I just thought I’d put my two cents worth in on this subject.

  Wendy’s revenue in 2009 was $3.58 billion. Sonic’s was $718.8 million. I couldn’t find a very recent figure for Dairy Queen, but in 2006 it was $476 million. There.

  That literally says nothing relevant to this discussion. They’re owned by Berkshire-Hathaway, which has a yearly revenue of almost $100 billion…but that doesn’t say how much of it comes from DQ. Since the 2006 figure was $476 million, I would guess the 2009 revenue was in the $450-550 million range. So let’s recap to make it simple for you Kelly:

  Wendy’s: $3.58 billion
  Sonic: $718.8 million
  DQ: $450-550 million

  You can’t argue with the numbers.

  Wendy’s is BY FAR the biggest of these three chains in terms of revenue. By far. Sonic is also ahead of DQ. More people buy more food and spend more money at Wendy’s and Sonic each year than do at Dairy Queen.

  That’s not debatable, it’s just a fact.

Sonic and Wendys at least cooks there stuff to order. I dont know what DQ does for cooking because none of the three around my area serve food. so someone else can tell us how DQ cooks there food.

  McDonald’s is by far #1 in sales, but I don’t think most people would say it’s their favorite place. I think a lot of people go there because it’s cheap and convenient (lots of locations), not because they think it’s the best food.

  Are you sure Wendy’s cooks their stuff to order? It takes like 30 seconds to get my food every time I go there. That being said, it does always taste fresh.

  Is it possible that Dairy Queen stuff the ballot, because, well, have you ever eaten at Dairy Queen? Ice cream=great, but food is awful. I ate two non-ice cream items at a Dairy Queen, and both were disgusting. And in the northeast/mid-atlantic, where I’ve lived Dairy Queens are hard to come by. In my bracket Dairy Queen wouldn’t have made it out of the first round, but I’ve also eaten Quizno’s entire menu except for the salds. Anyway, great debate. Great site.

  well im not so sure about wendys i just know most of the time the food from there is fresh when i get it. I have gotten old chicken nuggets once before and they immediatly made me new ones when i informed them very pleasent. Sonic is the same if something was ever wrong they would immediatly fix it and even offer me something like a free ice cream cone or slush.

  I think that it was unfair to have wendy’s go against 2 other restraunts at the same time bad planing. Also why is Diary Queen even here I know they sell fast food but it’s crap. The ice cream is the only good stuff so why even have it in the bracket this high for the quality of all it’s food?
