Fried Squirrel, Mike Huckabee Style

As regular So Good readers know, I’ve taken a keen interest in Mike Huckabee’s bizarre eating habits, whether it be horse meat, or fried squirrel. In an interview on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, Huckabee explained how in college he and his friends would cook squirrel on a popcorn popper. Well rather than leave this statement unchallenged, the folks over at Slate V decided to investigate, wondering both if it is safe to eat squirrel meat, and if it can actually be cooked in a popcorn popper.
