It’s Monday again, meaning it’s time for another Eating Styles* poll! This week: part three in our series of napkin-related polls. We’ve already asked you about the volume of your napkin use and whether you wipe your hands on your pants, so this week we want to know, do you fold or crumple your napkin?

Some people out there are very particular about their napkin use and make sure their napkin is neatly folded by the side of their plate after they use it. Some people have control issues. Me, I definitely have control issues. But mine center around keeping my hands clean. As someone who refused to finger paint in preschool, I try to keep grease off my hands as much as possible during a meal, which usually results in a chaotic, unmanageable pile of crumpled napkins taking over the table by the end of the meal.

What about you? Do you make sure your napkin stays in check during a meal or do you crumple it up after a few bites and reach for another? Vote for your favorite option below and explain in the comments.

If a bunch of napkins are within reach, I’ll be more likely to be a savage and crumple. I also wear dish gloves 🙁

I never even pick mine up. I wipe the dirty fingers off in as many places as I can, and finally when my napkin is a rainbow of perfection, I grab another one.
