Dancing, Singing Bears Make Me Want Coke Zero

by · May 26th, 2009 · 5 Comments

Under the title, “If Birds Pooped Candy”, AdRants reports on a recently aired Coke Zero ad titled “Unbelievable”:

Created 15 months ago by Weiden + Kennedy and directed by Buck Production, this “epic rock opera” for Coke Zero features “a singing bear, candy-pooping birds, an elk with sausage antlers, g-string wearing antelopes and honeycomb encrusted sheep.”

Ooooook. That was random.

The ad has only aired so far in Brazil. The computer animated animals kind of remind me of the Orangina Orgy commercial.

That is pretty darned random. I like the baritone “that’s unbelievable”.

Do you think in Brazil they keep it in English or is it dubbed?

I don’t know, I actually like it. It makes more sense than a lot of other commercials that air in the US, or am I just crazy?

Actually, I like the ones with the animated tongues and eyeball. They’ve recently been revived in Canada – I hope they come up with some new ones.
