From Dunkin’ Donuts? Apparently I was unaware they launched a new “oven toasted” menu earlier this year, and this flatbread is the latest addition to that line of foods. I used to frequent Dunkin Donuts for their coffee all the time, but since I moved to DC I haven’t leaved nearby one. Is it just me, or does this food seem like straying a little too far from their core business model? I mean it looks good in the picture and everything, but please, don’t overextend Dunkin’ Donuts! I love your coffee!

Dunks has mini pizzas, too. I tried them when I was home in MA last month and they were pretty good. Since then I’ve seen them at the Eastern Market location in DC and the Lee Highway location in Arlington. I still think people will go to Dunks for their coffee and add a breakfast sandwich or donuts in the morning, but I think this will help sell more food products later in the day.

I had one of these flatbread sandwiches once – completely overpriced considering there’s hardly anything on it. I think it was 4.00 for the tiny thing.
