This is incredibly unusual but very cool. One of those things that just must be watched to be believed. The short film is originally made by a man named Stefan Nadelman (although this version has been slightly edited by Boing Boing TV), and his website describes the film as such:
“Food Fight is an abridged history of war, from World War II to present day, told through the foods of the countries in conflict. Watch as traditional comestibles slug it out for world domination in this chronologically re-enacted smorgasbord of aggression.“
H/T to Serious Eats and Boing Boing. Also, be sure to visit the filmmakers official Food Fight site.

yeah, the part at the beginning with the 9/11 and the twin burger towers? yeah, how did the burger tower that was hit 2nd fall 1st? also, it fell at freefall speed into its own footprint. violates the laws of physics, unless, of course, there were strategically placed explosives.
