Voting on these match-ups is now closed. Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups (63%) knocks off Twix (37%), Snickers (78%) crush 3 Musketeers (22%), Kit Kat (55%) edges M&M’s (45%) and Airheads (54%) surges past Reese’s Pieces (46%).

And then there were 8! Three of our #1 seeds are still alive, along with 2 #2 seed and one #3 seed. But in one region, upsets reigned supreme, with Airheads (8) and Reese’s Pieces (6) fighting for the right to be an unexpected entrant into the Final Four.

Voting on these match-ups will be open until Monday at 2 pm ET.

    It’s going to come down to Snickers or Reese’ PB cups. They’ll be in the final four and whichever one wins, will win the final.

    I don’t think Twix will be able to win over Reese’s, which is too bad. Went with Snickers, M&M’s and Airheads.

    I’m a bit surprised that M&M’s are trailing behind; I had them going all the way! Ah well, I really enjoy Kit Kats, so if anything had to beat out M&M’s I’d rather it be something that I like.

    I call shenanigans!! Airheads always manges to get more votes in their matchups!! They should not have beat Crunch and should not be beating Reese’s Pieces. Shenanigans!

    @Unhappy no shenanigans as far as I can tell from the voting logs – Airheads has simply been the only company tweeting and posting about the competition on Facebook to help get out the vote from their fans – that’s why they’ve been getting more votes in their match-ups.

    That happened pretty frequently in Snack and Fast Food competitions the past two years as brands rallied the vote – any of the other brands in Candy Madness are free to do the same – if they post on Facebook encouraging their fans to vote it will be interesting to see if they can defeat Airheads get-out-the-vote efforts.
