Some website called Grassshopper.com, which is for “advanced phone numbers” or whateves, sent me a package of chocolate covered grasshoppers last week. In my never ending quest to make going to my office more and more like competeting on the TV show Survivor, I held a little tasting in our office kitchen.
They were tiny, so they don’t look like much in this photo.
Gotta say, pretty tasty. Tasted just like a Krackel bar.

I have heard of deep-fried insects, but i haven’t seen this yet, even so i wouldn’t try anything that is remotely bug related.

tried bbq silk worms in china. sure, they tasted alright. still, i can’t get over eating insects. blame it on my delicate sensibilities…. i guess.
