One of the nice things about being a food blogger and working for an online marketing company is that sometimes I get the early low-down on upcoming promotions. Such is the case today, as I have just found out about a soon-to-be-happening promotion at one of my favorite fast food places, Chick-Fil-A.

On Monday, September 1, two days after the Univ. of Alabama vs. Clemson game, Chick-Fil-A will be giving away a complimentary three-piece order of their new Chick-N-Strips product to anyone who comes to one of their stores and wears football-related clothing. That can be a hat, shirt, jersey, shorts – anything really. It doesn’t even have to be NCAA specific, it can be high school, college, professional or even pop-warner football apparel. You wear it, you get free food. Sweet.

This promotion is tied to Chick-Fil-A’s new website, Cheer for Chicken, that has been released to coincide with the start of the NCAA college football season. The lighthearted site lets create your own “Steerleader” and deck them out in your favorite outfit and team colors:
