The World’s Tallest Sandwich

Hotel Udaya Samudra in India has plans to roll out a 50-foot sandwich on World Food Day, October 16th. This would break the current Guiness world record for the tallest sandwich, which was previously set by O’Brien’s Irish Sandwich bar of Ireland on April 25, 2003. Raja Gopaal Iyer, the corporate director of the hotel proclaims:

‘‘We are breaking the world record with this wonder loaf. An Indian challenge has been thrown up by the hotel. The present record is 42 ft. We will make it 50 ft. Sometimes we may go above that height also.’’
