Review: Carnival's Gluten Free Warm Chocolate Melting Cake

The warm chocolate melting cake is Carnival’s famous dish to die for. On my most recent cruise aboard the Carnival Miracle I discovered something truly miraculous; they make a gluten free warm chocolate melting cake! That’s right, wheat-free warm chocolate melting cake is now available thanks to Carnival’s efforts to accommodate those of us with food allergies and celiac. I’m told the original and gluten free versions taste almost identical!

Some would compare the melting cake to a brownie, but it is even better. The dark chocolate gluten free cake is served in a small souffle dish, lightly dusted with powdered sugar and cooked to perfection. They cook it just right to ensure a warm molten chocolate layer is left below the cooked, spongy cake above. It is so rich and delicious that you may not be able to finish the three other desserts you ordered. You’ve been warned!
