For being a meatless dish it is very filling and just plain delicious. Many families in Mexico use this as their ‘Friday’ food during Lent. Typically poblano chiles are not spicy, but every once in a while a spicy one can sneak in there, so a taste test might be in order before serving this meal to children. It can be served as a main meal in tacos or as a dip with corn chips.
