Ingredients
  1. ½ cup quinoa
  2. 1 cups water
  3. 1 egg, whisked
  4. 3 oz feta cheese, crumbled
  5. 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  6. 2 cloves garlic, minced
  7. 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  8. 3 oz fresh beet, grated
  9. 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  10. 1/2 cup rolled oats
  11. 1 teaspoon olive oil plus 2 tbsp olive oil for frying
  12. ground pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Place the quinoa in a fine-mesh strainer, and rinse well under cold water.
  2. Soak before use for 10 minutes.
  3. Drain well and place in a heavy bottom pot.
  4. Add 1 cup water and bring to the boil.
  5. Cover, simmer and cook for approximately 15-20 minutes or until all the water has been absorbed.
  6. Use a fork to fluff up the quinoa.
  7. In a medium bowl combine the quinoa, egg, feta cheese,beet, onion, garlic, parsley, oats, salt, pepper.
  8. Mix it well.
  9. Divide the mixture into six balls.
  10. Flatten the balls.
  11. Handle them delicately.
  12. Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a large pan.
  13. Add the burgers and cook for 5 minutes each side or until golden.
  14. Serve with your favorite buns, veggies and toppings.

    Where do add the beets in ?? And what goes in the oven ? I believe some of the recipe is missing ???
