Horse meat is a hot topic right now and not because its become the next bacon.  Just ask a Public Relations executive at Burger King  or better yet any recently unemployed meat packing facility “Quality Control” supervisor in the UK.

Personally, I’d  prefer a fighting chance when it comes to detecting an out of place object lurking within my next meal.  Not reading about it in the news two weeks later so I can start obsessing whether those  IKEA meatballs I consumed in between modular furniture shopping were 30% Seabiscuit.

Going by the following finds, “Food Quality Psychic” sounds more and more like a lucrative career opportunity.

As someone who does products recalls/retrievals for a living this is nothing. My favorite retrieval was a man who found a dried mouse in his bag of fresh salad mix, as he dumped the last bit of salad out.

This is fucking disgusting. And you wonder why people are vegans. *shudders* As for the frog in the salad, I’d be fine with that. Just proves the salad isn’t swimming in pesticides if a frog can live in it.
