Eating Styles: Potato Chip Edition!

by · February 18th, 2013 · 3 Comments

It’s Monday, which means it’s time for another Eating Styles poll. As tends to happen when you work in a convenience store-type place, I’m having chips for lunch today (don’t judge).  So with chips on the brain, I’m stealing this week’s question from reader Kaylin: what’s your favorite style of potato chip?

Kartoffelchips-1

We’ve already asked you what’s your favorite potato chip flavor - how many different styles could there really be? Well, it used to be that potato chips came in one shape and were all made the same way – not so anymore. With the rise of different baking methods and health marketing schemes (I’m looking at you, popchips), potato chips now come in all different shapes, including ripples, popped, baked and kettle.

What’s your favorite potato chip style? Vote below and explain in the comments.

Mmm close one between Kettle and Baked, but the super crispy greasy goodness of Kettle wins out!

I only say “baked” because my doctor says I should.

I’ve been waiting for this poll! :P I concur with Bubba’s dilemma. I voted kettle however. Out of the two, kettle is closer to the original lays texture than baked while being WAY healthier. but If i’m not going for similarity, I think I like baked just as well.
