So Good Christmas Wishlist JT December 16, 2010 Cooking, Cool, Holiday 3 Comments Wondering what to get for that foodie in your life for Christmas? Well, I found something pretty cool. If the person in question is an iPhone-lover like me, then the iGrill might hit the spot. The intersection of food and technology, this product transforms your iPhone into a roving meat thermometer. All you do is insert a probe into the meat you are cooking, and then monitor the temperature from your phone anywhere within 200 feet. It also has alerts for specific temps and a kitchen timer. If you have friends over, it can be a pain in the neck to have to keep going out to the grill (especially in the cold) to keep checking to see if your chicken, steaks, etc. are ready. It is pricey at $100, but just seems to be a really useful product. (Heck, it might even be a good gift for your favorite So Good writer… hmm, was that too obvious??) H/t to Engadget for the tip.
