I dislike both, but celery has the worst texture. It’s crunchy and stringy and water-y. Keep the carrots, but only so I can continue to eat the Tuna Melt from Cosi.

can’t understand anyone taking celery over carrots.

what about carrot juice, soup, cake, sticks?

celery you get for wings, soup filler and putting cream cheese in (barf!).

    Carrot soup?!? What?!?!

I need celery for my tunafish. I need carrots for nothing other than split pea soup and that can go carrot-less (i’ll use extra celery.)

    Plus – celery salt.

BTW, I’m weighing in here with Celery. Carrots blow. Soups and stews? Carrots are easily replaceable by something else.

I NEED my celery with wings, and celery in chicken salad is essential. Plus, the classic childhood snack “Ants on a Log” (celery sticks with peanut butter & raisins).

I can’t think of the last time I actually wanted to eat a carrot.

eick, I couldn’t disagree with you more. as Youppi pointed out, carrots are multi-faceted and adaptable to many important dishes (curries, soups, stews). The celery is so one-dimensional it hurts. If the two were comedic actors, celery would be Hugh Grant to carrot’s Peter Sellers.

And don’t give me that anti-soup garbage. You people are obviously insane.

My school sells Wraps, they used to have Celery and Carrots. Now only two sticks or more of Carrots. So me verdict is…Carrots are the Best : D

although no nutritional value… celery has NO calories and can be dressed up with anything.

also helps (believe it or not) to add great flavor to many cooked meals… casseroles & soups.

    ever used celery seed?

keep your carrots raw, or cooked & mushy.
