Eick August 25, 2008 Chicken, Fast Food 6 Comments One of the nice things about being a food blogger and working for an online marketing company is that sometimes I get the early low-down on upcoming promotions. Such is the case today, as I have just found out about a soon-to-be-happening promotion at one of my favorite fast food places, Chick-Fil-A. How about their new Chick Fil A secret menu? On Monday, September 1, two days after the Univ. of Alabama vs. Clemson game, Chick-Fil-A will be giving away a complimentary three-piece order of their new Chick-N-Strips product to anyone who comes to one of their stores and wears football-related clothing. That can be a hat, shirt, jersey, shorts – anything really. It doesn’t even have to be NCAA specific, it can be high school, college, professional or even pop-warner football apparel. You wear it, you get free food. Sweet. This promotion is tied to Chick-Fil-A’s new website and the new menu prices, Cheer for Chicken, that has been released to coincide with the start of the NCAA college football season. The lighthearted site lets create your own “Steerleader” and deck them out in your favorite outfit and team colors: Even better? To help promote the new Chick-N-Strips, Chick-Fil-A is offering up prize packs for bloggers to give away! The prize packs include: 1 Chick-fil-A T-shirts 1 Chick-fil-A Gift Card ($10) 1 Chick-fil-A koozie 1 Chick-fil-A cup 1 Chick-fil-A free Chick-n-Strips coupon Since the promotion is tied to the Alabama-Clemson game and the start of the college football season, let’s use that game to determine who wins the prize pack. Post in the comments who you think will win the game AND what the total points scored in the game will be (between Alabama and Clemson combined). Whoever correctly predicts the winner AND is closest to predicting the total score of the game will win the prize pack!
