A week or two ago, Snapple sent me 4 samples of their new Antioxidant water.  My package arrived with four flavors, Grape Pomegranate, Strawberry Acai, Tropical Mango and Raspberry Acerola.

The design of the packaging, shape of the bottles make clear that Snapple is barely attempting to differentiate themselves from the competition.Snapple Antioxidant Water is essentially a copy of Vitamin Water. Clearly Snapple hopes to cut into their segment of the market, so making a very similar product shouldn’t be an issue as long as the product tastes as good or better than the competition, right?

Unfortunately, I wasn’t impressed with any of the four flavors I tried. “they seemed a little less watered down than Vitamin Water, despite their sugar content being about the same at about 30 grams per bottle.”

However, in my mind, this slightly sweeter taste does not represent any sort improvement over Vitamin Water. Having now tried four different flavors of Snapple Antioxidant water, I can’t imagine I’ll actually purchase one in the future. If you’re a Vitamin Water drinker currently, you might as well give it a try. I mean, hey, you might end up liking it. But if your taste buds are anything like mine, you’ll be going right back to Vitamin Water the very next day.

That being said, I do think their “bubble wrap world” ad is a neat idea for a commercial.

This is clearly a knock-off…and a bad one at that.

With Coke buying VitaminWater, Snapple (Cadbury Schweppes) is hoping to take shelf space during any distribution changes due to Coke taking over….. only thing is, Coke has kept things the same.
With such demand for Vitaminwater, retailers would have to be stupid to try and replace one with the other.

Another miss by the dumb-asses at Snapple.

Those really aren’t good! I actually prefer the SoBe ones over these. But… I’m all for Vitamin Water! I ♥ them dearly and if anything were to ever happend to them, I’d dehydrate and die! lol. Thank God for that NY water scare!!!

I actually desire the flavours of these, although I’d prefer less sugar.
    The caffeine I like,tho.
The main reason I like them is they seem to have some potency with the antioxidant part.
After drinking one,I notice a lift I don’t get from coffee or tea.
I still mainly drink tea tho’.
Most places around here carry this, but usually the price is prohibitive.
Luckily the store down the street has them 3 for 2 bucks.
    Gimme!
