There are reports that Google has invested in a chain of Indian food restaurants. More specifically, a venture capital fund backed by Google called the Erasmic Venture Fund has decided to invest in a Bangalore-based fast food chain named Kaati Zone. Mashable calls the chain the “corporate cultural equivalent” of Wendy’s.

Live Comedy From the Mind Behind So Good
February 29th, 2008 · 4 Comments
Greetings readers. As some of you may know, in addition to being a food lover and writer, I am also a humorist with experience in sketch and improv comedy. For the last 3 years I’ve worked part-time as a stand-up comedian. After working the DC Improv last April, opening 6 shows for Guy Torry, [...]

The History of War, Starring….Food?
February 28th, 2008 · 4 Comments
This is incredibly unusual but very cool. One of those things that just must be watched to be believed. The short film is originally made by a man named Stefan Nadelman (although this version has been slightly edited by Boing Boing TV), and his website describes the film as such:
“Food [...]

A very cool development my fellow So Good readers. As you may know, two days ago I broke the story about Ryan Giesel, a student who started a Facebook group titled “If 100,000 people join, I’ll eat every McDonalds value meal, #1-12.”
Well by yesterday morning, the story had migrated from the internet to the airwaves, [...]

No not me. God no, I would never do that. But one young man (duh, I mean would a woman be stupid enough to do this?) has created a Facebook group (now up to more than 16,000 members) that makes this very promise.
The only stipulation the group’s creator makes, is that while he promises to [...]

A Brief History of the Cream Cheese Filled Bagel
February 26th, 2008 · 7 Comments
My last post which questioned the uniqueness of the new Kraft Bagel-Fuls (that I originally wrote about last Thursday) was getting filled up with endless updates, so let me summarize in a new post what my research about the history of this concept has discovered:
An eagle eyed reader over at Serious Eats spotted a cream [...]

Kraft Bagel-Ful Not So Unique?
February 25th, 2008 · 8 Comments
On Thursday, I wrote about a new Kraft product called the Bagel-Ful. It’s one of those “products of convenience” that no one realizes they need until someone starts advertising it to them. However, the uniqueness of the idea has definitely attracted some attention in the blogosphere, with both Serious Eats and Gothamist picking [...]

Kraft to Fill Bagels With Creamy White Substance
February 21st, 2008 · 20 Comments
Update 2/26/08: I just stumbled across an article from Chicago Business which may answer a lot of people’s original questions. It appears, based on the article, that Kraft’s new Bagel-Ful’s are intended to be bagel STICKS, not full bagels. Also, they are intended to be microwaved, not toasted.
Our good friends over at Kraft Foods are [...]

It’s true I swear. We get so wrapped up in the candidates and their campaigns, that sometimes we forget our candidates are people too, and they eat, and have favorite foods just like the rest of us.
Slate has a new article out today titled, “How Hungry is Hillary Clinton” which provides a variety of anecdotes [...]
