Mario Batali’s shows have been axed by The Food Network, and his run on Iron Chef is over. Update: Serious Eats is reporting that Batali will be shooting two episodes of Iron Chef next week, and the NY Post report is inaccurate.

I used to love food network, but lately the enthusiasm is going down:( they need to revamp themselves..same old shows, same hosts and running repeat shows in primetime isn’t going to get them their fan following anymore!!
